    Going to College?

    Got communication difficulties?

    Please tell us your experiences!

The Scottish Executive is inviting views on college places for students with complex needs. They are particularly interested in young people who cannot find suitable FE places because of communication barriers or lack of appropriate courses – or money. Stuart Aitken and Sally Millar from the CALL Centre are helping to carry out the consultation amongst young people with complex communication support needs themselves, to ensure that they get their say and that their voices are heard. This is a unique opportunity to ‘make a difference’ for the future. If you have complex needs and have been to FE college or are thinking of going, and have views you wish to express (or if you know somebody in a similar situation), please get in touch with Sally or Stuart – quickly please, as the closing date is 31 October 2005.

    E-mail us at info@callcentrescotland.org.uk

Or give us a call on 0131 6516235

You can get more information about the consultation from http://www.scotland.gov.uk/publications/2005/06/22102746/27482
