Personal Communication Passports
Sally Millar ‘invented’ communication passports which is a new way of documenting and presenting information about children and adults with disabilities who are unable to speak for themselves.

We have been running courses in the CALL centre on Communication Passports for several years. (Find out about this years courses), and have recently developed an innovative CPD Package which is available for on-site delivery in your school or local authority. The Courses have always been very popular and although CALL distributed an Information
Pack on the topic, we felt there was a need for a more substantial, authoritative publication on Passports.
To this end, published in November 2003 and written by Sally Millar comes “Personal Communication Passports: Guidlines for Good Practice”. This book, in full colour, outlines key principles of making and using Passports and provides examples taken from real Passports, from across the UK.
